About Skills-Tracker®
The Skills-Tracker® concept began in 1992 from some enthusiastic efforts to support competency based training, when it was first introduced into Australia. The process was designed and implemented to support workplace industrial development of employees in a leading edge Australian company.
From these small beginnings in heavy industry, the concept was grown into the present system serving a wide variety of industries and occupations.
Skills-Tracker® revolves around easy to read reporting of workplace experience. The reports are used by learners to manage their own skill development, by employers to support the development of a skilled workforce and by trainers to focus the training and assessment of learners in the workplace to where training is really needed.
