What is included in my reports?

Skills-Tracker provides comprehensive experience reports which show your progress against targets for the competencies included in your training plan. Additionally the reports include an analysis of the way you work and other aspects. The reports include all verified inputs, up to the time of printing. You can print your standard report, or you can include your learner’s notes, supervisor comments, or supervisor ratings if they are included in your package.

What does Instant Reports mean?

Now, with Skills-Tracker, when you print your report, all verified weekly experience records will be included right up to the time you print.

How do I keep comments on important jobs?

Skills-Tracker allows you to keep comments on important jobs. You can enter a description of your job or learning experience, or edit one that you have previously entered. You can choose to include these learner comments when you print your report.

How does my supervisor add comments?

Your supervisor can add comments on your progress at any time by logging in to their own Skills-Tracker page. You can choose to include these supervisor comments when you print out your report.

How does my supervisor add a performance rating?

If available, your supervisor can review your performance and then record ratings against some standard performance characteristics at any time. You can choose to print these supervisor performance ratings when you print your report.

Why can't I login to Skills-Tracker?

The most common reason for not being able to login to Skills-Tracker is that you are not currently financial or registered. Please discuss with your college or lodge an enquiry at the Renew or Register page.

How do I pay for the Skills-Tracker service?

Skills-Tracker may be paid directly by your college, your employer or by yourself, depending on the arrangements made. If you are required to pay directly, go to the Renew or Register page.

What is the Journal and how do I use it?

You can record details of critical, important or useful learning opportunities you have had in your work. You can enter a short description of the work, what you learnt from it and the impact of this work on you, your employer or your learning. You can edit these entries later if you wish. These journal entries can be printed as part of your report.

How is my Weekly Experience verified?

For more than 10 years, Skills-Tracker has been developing and improving ways for supervisors to verify weekly experience records. Skills-Tracker now offers three methods of verification. Every record must be supervisor verified using either, online, signed entry sheets or verified input receipt. Verification records must be kept for any audit requirements. Contact your college or employer for more information on their selected verification method.

Can I view previous experience receipts?

Skills-Tracker allows you or your employer to view, print out or download previous weekly experience receipts. This facility is available for all entries made after the introduction of the enhanced Skills-Tracker in April 2009.
